1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using toolwe.com (the "Site") and any of the tools made available on it (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
ToolWe provides free, browser-based micro-tools for tasks such as editing PDFs, manipulating images, converting video, encoding data, and other similar utilities. Unless otherwise stated on a specific tool page, all processing takes place locally within your own browser; ToolWe does not receive, store, or have access to the files you process.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to process, generate, or distribute any content that:
- Infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any third party;
- Is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or violates the rights of others;
- Contains malicious code, malware, or is intended to disrupt or damage any system;
- Attempts to interfere with, reverse engineer, or overload the Site's infrastructure.
4. Your content & files
You retain full ownership of any files you process using ToolWe's tools. Because processing happens locally in your browser, we do not access, store, or claim any rights over your files. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to use and process any file you upload into a tool, and for keeping your own backups — ToolWe is not responsible for any loss of data resulting from use of the Service.
5. Intellectual property
The Site's design, branding, original text, and underlying code (excluding third-party open-source libraries, which remain governed by their own licenses) are the property of ToolWe or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the Site itself without permission.
6. Availability & changes to the service
We aim to keep ToolWe available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool or feature of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that any tool will meet your specific requirements or that results will be error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ToolWe and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
9. Third-party links & libraries
The Service may reference or load open-source libraries and may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party resource, and their inclusion does not imply endorsement.
10. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by local mandatory law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
