Frequently Asked Questions

No. This tool works purely with text content. Fonts, colors, images, and complex layouts from the source file are not carried over — only the readable text is extracted and rebuilt into a new, simple document. Full-fidelity conversion between these formats genuinely requires a dedicated office engine and isn't something a browser-only tool can do.

Excel sheets are converted row by row into comma-separated lines, one sheet after another. PowerPoint slides have their text boxes read in order and separated by a "Slide N" marker, so you can see where each slide starts.

The built-in PDF font this tool uses only supports basic Latin characters. Non-Latin text (Arabic, Chinese, Cyrillic, emoji, etc.) can't be rendered with it and is replaced with "?". TXT, Word, PowerPoint and Excel output do not have this limitation.

Put a line containing just --- wherever you want a new slide to start. If you don't add any, everything is placed on a single slide.
